My Experience with Negrini Cases

by Marty Fischer, NSCA Level III Shooting Instructor, Professional Wingshooter and Host of the If It Flies… TV series on the Pursuit Channel.

For more than four decades I have traveled throughout the U.S. and around the world to the best of the best of the best wingshooting locations. I travel extensively by truck, rental car, or airplane. I am a left-handed shooter, so my fitted shotguns always accompany me on my trips in order to ensure I am shooting a comfortable gun. Over the years I have used many different gun cases to transport my guns. Those cases were usually large, heavy, and difficult to transport in vehicles, especially when traveling with a group of hunters.

When I was introduced to the custom cases by Negrini, I was shocked at how much lighter and easier to pack these cases were. There is no wasted space as my guns fit perfectly in the space provided. I love the compact style of the cases. Most people see the case and have no idea that there are guns inside.  That’s a good thing in many ways. I actually took the time to weigh my old “go to” aluminum case at against my Negrini two gun case. The Negrini case was 12 pounds lighter and the difference is very noticeable!

What else do I like about the Negrini cases? The look and quality of workmanship are easily visible when compared to other cases.  There is an attention to detail inside and out that is second to none, and the internal compartments and accessory boxes are perfect for chokes, cleaning supplies and more. The double wall construction of each case provides great protection.

Since I travel by air many times each year, the TSA approved latches are terrific. Getting through airports and checkpoints are simple with Negrini cases. I use the optional heavy-duty cordura cover on my cases and the case helps ensure that the case and guns arrive in perfect shape.

Finally, the QD snap in sling mounts is the ticket. Using the sling on the case frees up a hand and certainly makes transporting gear much easier.

To be very honest, what’s not to like about a Negrini case. They look great and other hunters and shooters are always impressed with that appearance and the functionality of the cases. Traveling to hunt for me is a serious business, as my guns have to arrive with me in tip-top shape. Negrini gives me the confidence that my sporting firearms are being protected by the best gun cases in the world, and when it’s showtime thousands of miles away from home, having that peace of mind makes those trips much more enjoyable.
