Team Negrini’s Todd Hitch turned in a strong performance at the 2026 Caribbean Classic, held February 1-9 at Vero Beach Clay Shooting, finishing runner-up in three major events and earning a High Overall title earlier in the week.
Hitch opened the tournament by winning Prelim 1 with a 99/100, setting the pace early.
In the 200-target Main Event, he broke 188/200 to finish second overall. Hitch ended six targets behind High Over All winner Matthieu Delmas and secured sole possession of runner-up honors by two targets over third-place finisher Dylan Thompson. The second-place finish earned Hitch a $3,000 payout.
He continued to stay near the top of the leaderboard in multiple disciplines. In FITASC, Hitch posted a 94/100 to claim another runner-up finish. In Five-Stand, he missed just one target, finishing with a 49/50 and adding a third second-place result to his week.
