Denver, CO – Dorsey Pictures, the world’s largest producer of outdoor lifestyle television, has been named to Real Screen Magazine’s annual Global 100 list, a collection of the world’s largest and best production companies working in non-fiction and unscripted content. Dorsey Pictures is the only production company with outdoor industry ties to make the prestigious list in 2019. Real Screen is the television industry’s leading trade magazine.

Founded 20-years ago by Chris and Amy Dorsey, Dorsey Pictures has produced 55 series in the outdoor genre for ESPN, TNN, OLN/NBC Sports Network, Spike, Outdoor and Sportsman Channels. In addition, they’ve created dozens of outdoor-centric productions for mainstream networks including Discovery, National Geographic, History, Oxygen, WGN America, Nat Geo Wild, Travel, HGTV, DIY, Great American Country, and others. In addition to its television work, the company is in production with Wings 3D, an IMAX film narrated by Michael Keaton, to be released in 2021.

The Denver-based company has produced more than 2,000 episodes of outdoor programming and has amassed a 100,000+ hour HD library of outdoor content from across the globe. Dorsey Pictures helped pioneer branded outdoor entertainment content with distribution strategies maximizing audience reach through cable, syndication, digital, social, and international reach. The company is part of Red Arrow Studios, a wholly owned subsidiary of ProSieben Sat1, Germany’s largest media company with 21 production companies, channel systems, and distribution affiliates throughout the world.

In 2019 Dorsey Pictures will launch the Sporting Classics with Chris Dorsey television series along with RAM Trucks, Winchester Ammunition, Winchester Repeating Arms, Walther, Sightmark, Pulsar, Safari Club International, and Negrini Cases. The series brings one of America’s greatest adventure magazines to the television space and showcases the planet’s most unforgettable hunting and fishing destinations.
